Step Back in Time with Our Historic Buildings

At the Almira Historical Society, we believe in bringing history to life. That’s why we have moved four historic buildings to our property in Lake Ann. These buildings not only serve as physical reminders of our past but also provide a unique glimpse into the lives of the people who once called Almira and Lake Ann home.

From the quaint one-room Blacksmith shop to the charming Thompson & Babcock Homes, each building has been meticulously restored to its former glory. Step inside and imagine what life was like for the early settlers of Almira Township. The creaking floorboards, the smell of wood, and the vintage furnishings transport you to a bygone era, allowing you to connect with the past in a tangible way.
